At Plumbs, we specialise in breathing new life into the old. From revitalising tired sofas to restoring antique armchairs, change is at the heart of what we do every day. After 60 years of serving our customers, the time has come for our company to embrace change too.

As of 15th October 2024, the Plumbs brand has transferred to new ownership within the Plumb family. This marks a new chapter for the next generation of our family, who remain deeply committed to our founding principles of exceptional quality and personal, friendly service.

This transition ensures the continuation of our 60-year heritage, guided by a passionate and dedicated management team that remains hands-on in daily operations. We are fully committed to growing the company’s future while continuing to deliver the outstanding products and services our customers have come to expect.

Since my grandparents first opened their market stall in 1953, Plumbs has always been a brand that is both crafted, and loved, by our family – and that firmly remains.

What this means for you

I want to personally assure you that this change will not affect any current orders. Each product will continue to be beautifully crafted to the same high standards we are proud to uphold.

Additionally, any quotes recently provided remain valid, and all scheduled appointments will go ahead as planned. Our commitment to bespoke British manufacturing, our skilled craftspeople, and our friendly, personal service remain at the heart of what makes Plumbs so special.

    Is my order still being progressed?
    Yes, absolutely. Our team of skilled craftspeople are currently working through all outstanding orders. We are committed to upholding our excellent quality standards and are working to the timeframes previously communicated to you.

    Is my deposit secure?
    Yes, all monies paid are secure and have been allocated to your specific order.

    My furniture has recently been collected. Do I need to do anything?
    No, your furniture is in our safe hands and will still be beautifully transformed before being returned to you.

    Will my Interest Free Credit agreement still be valid?
    Yes, all Interest Free Credit agreements remain valid.

    Is my product guarantee still the same?
    Yes, all guarantees are still valid for the timeframe referenced in your order terms and conditions. Our commitment to excellent quality remains unaltered.

    I have an ongoing query/alteration. Is this still being addressed?

    Is my quote still valid?
    Yes, all quotes received in the last 28 days remain valid. If you would like to proceed with an order and refresh your home furnishings, please contact your local home consultant.

    Will there be any changes to the fabrics available?
    We are committed to continuing to offer you the very best selection of fabrics, working with our trusted fabric suppliers and leading design houses. Your local home consultant will be able to update you on any new fabrics now available or changes to our range.

    Is there any change to order timeframes?
    No, there is no change to order timeframes. What’s more, all sofa cover and curtain orders placed by October 31st are guaranteed for delivery by Christmas! (Subject to fabric availability.)

    How do I proceed with my quote?
    If you’d like to proceed with your quote, please contact your local home consultant who will assist you with this.

    I recently requested a further home visit. Will this go ahead?
    Yes, there will be no change to booked appointments. If you do need to rearrange your appointment for whatever reason, please contact your local home consultant directly.

    I recently requested some free fabric samples. Are these on their way?
    Yes, we have a note of your request and your samples should be with you shortly.

    I have booked a home visit. Will this still go ahead?
    Yes, any home visits requested or booked will continue as expected. If 5 days after your request, you are still waiting to hear from your consultant, please call our team on 0800 019 0505 who will follow this up for you.

    Will there be any changes to the fabrics available?
    We are committed to continuing to offer you the very best selection of fabrics, working with our trusted fabric suppliers and leading design houses. Your local home consultant will be able to update you on any new fabrics now available or changes to our range.

    Are the advertised offers still valid?
    Yes, any advertised offers will be honoured from booking your home visit.

    Is there any change to order timeframes?
    No, there is no change to order timeframes. What’s more, all sofa cover and curtain orders placed by October 31st are guaranteed for delivery by Christmas! (Subject to fabric availability.)

    Yes, all quality guarantees on past orders remain valid until the original date of expiry.

    Is Plumbs still based in the UK?
    Absolutely. Our skilled team remain at the heart of our business, and we’re incredibly proud to continue to represent bespoke British manufacturing and traditional craft skills.
